From the days of <em data-start=\"323\" data-end=\"333\">Harambee<\/em>, when communities came together to build schools, hospitals, and bridges, the Kenyan spirit of unity and service has always been our greatest strength.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"489\" data-end=\"812\">Today, the <strong data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"537\">Homegrown Volunteer Network (HVN)<\/strong> is reigniting that very spirit. HVN believes that development should not come <em data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"620\">to<\/em> the people but <em data-start=\"636\" data-end=\"642\">from<\/em> the people.
